The space
Penty Barn Holiday Cottage
Penty barn has everything you need for a memorable countryside escape, including a heated outdoor swimming pool, huge luxury hot tub, games room, bar, outdoor kitchen, fire pit, children’s play area and over an acre of private grounds.
Inside, there’s a large cosy living room with a wood-burning stove, 75-inch TV with Sky Q, Netflix, movies and sports, plus a PS4. The sun room connects to the living space and opens out onto the garden, creating another lovely spot to relax and enjoy the views.
The beautiful shaker-style kitchen is fully equipped for group stays, with a central island, Rangemaster cooker, American fridge freezer, dishwasher, wine rack, washing machine and tumble dryer. The adjoining dining room has a large banqueting table, so everyone can sit together for meals, celebrations and long evenings around the table.
The games room and bar is ideal for fun evenings in, with a bar area, seating, darts, multi-games table (pool, air hockey & Table Tennis), 65-inch TV, karaoke machine, speaker and photo wall.
Outside, guests can enjoy the 28ft x 14ft heated pool, a 3.8m hot tub under a wooden gazebo, undercover BBQ and bar area, alfresco dining tables, cabin hut with fire, large fire pit, football goals, badminton net and children’s play area with trampoline, swings and slide.

Penty Barn sleeps up to 24 guests across 8 bedrooms, plus a double sofa bed in the sun room.

Bathrooms
Penty Barn is well set up for larger groups, with bathrooms and shower rooms spread across both floors for convenience.
Downstairs, there is a family bathroom with a bath and shower over, a separate shower room, and an en-suite in one of the double bedrooms.
Upstairs, each wing has its own bathroom, including one with a beautiful roll-top bath and separate shower. The master bedroom also features a roll-top bath, creating a lovely relaxing space to unwind.
Guest access
Guests have full and exclusive use of the whole property and its 1-acre grounds.
Ample parking is available for 10+ cars.
The outdoor swimming pool is open and heated from the beginning of April until the end of October. The pool may also be available and heated out of season, from November to March, depending on the weather. This would be at an additional cost and requires prior notice, so please message us when booking if this is something you’d like to arrange.
Check-in is anytime after 4:00pm, and departure time is 10:00am. Earlier check-in or later check-out may be arranged, subject to availability and at an additional cost.
